Happy Tuesday Green Initiative!

Two and half weeks of classes left in the semester (i feel like we just started 😭), and we’re back with lots of updates for you!

First and foremost, our most awaited event every semester, Blazer Thrift, is now official! For those of you new to the org or who may not be aware, Blazer Thrift is our biannual clothing exchange event that aims to educate the UAB community on sustainable clothing practices; but it’s also an opportunity for you to:

1. Go through your closet

2. Find that sweater or pair of pants, book (even textbooks!), or random accessory/decoration that you never use or don’t plan on using anymore

3. And if lightly used, donate these items at one of our tabling locations during the allotted times (see below or check out our Instagram)

4. Stop by on Shop Day, Friday, Dec 1, and shop for as many items as you donated 🥳 

If you’re looking for service hours, you can also help out by signing up to table! Not only will you receive immediate hours through Blazer Pulse, but for every hour you volunteer, you get to shop for one FREE item on Shop Day!
