I hope everyone has had a smooth start to the school year and has been staying safe from all the rain and wind caused by Hurricane Francine!

I also want to give a shout-out to everyone who joined us at our Welcome Back Event. We enjoyed playing trivia, feasting on some delicious pastries, and chatting with you all. Many people are under the impression that they have to completely alter their lifestyles to practice sustainability and make an impact. However, the truth is that sustainability is about progress— not perfection. Small, manageable changes in our daily routines can collectively have a huge impact. With that said, I encourage everyone reading this newsletter to incorporate a few changes in your day-to-day, whether that be using a reusable water bottle or supporting an eco-friendly business!
