Upcoming: Picnic On the Green With Thread Together

I hope everyone had a restful weekend and is energized to take on another week of school! We have an exciting event planned this week, so be sure to read ahead to learn more. As for our last event, tote bag painting was a great success, and we are so grateful for everyone who came out to paint with us! We had some beautiful creations, which you can check out in the collage below.

Join us this Wednesday for a special collaboration with UAB’s Thread Together! We will be hosting a picnic on the Green, where you’ll be learning how to crochet with plastic bags — turning waste into beautiful, reusable art. It’s a great chance to get creative while practicing sustainability.

We will provide snacks, so bring your friends to enjoy an evening of food, fresh air, and good vibes! The event is this Wednesday @ 5 pm on the Green, so it is the perfect mid-week pick-me-up.
