Happy Monday Green Initiative!

My name is Preneet Sandhu, and I am excited to continue serving as Green Initiative’s Communication Coordinator for another year. About Green Initiative:

For those of you just joining us, Green Initiative is a student-lead organization dedicated to promoting sustainability and environmental awareness in the UAB and Birmingham community. Our mission can be simplified into 3 key areas:

  1. Education: raising environmental awareness through events, workshops, and outreach

  2. Activism: advocating for environmental-friendly policies and initiatives

  3. Service: engaging in hands-on volunteer opportunities that support sustainability
